My ideal life is a simple, intentional one—living off the land, raising livestock, cooking with fresh ingredients, tending the garden, and taking time to truly enjoy the surroundings. It’s a life rooted in connection: to the animals, the land, and to myself.

Over the years, many people have come to visit us to experience this way of living firsthand. Some come to work through a course, others simply to immerse themselves in the environment and learn what it truly takes to create and sustain a life like this.

When you visit, you’ll spend time with the animals, get to know them individually, and learn what’s involved in caring for and breeding livestock. It’s a hands-on, honest experience—one that goes beyond the idea of this lifestyle and into the reality of living it.

So book a day with me this year. Come and enjoy a talk, learning time, tea, cakes and hands-on experiences with the livestock.

You'll see from the social media pages and the blog that infrastructure is being built onsite, so perhaps one of the most interesting years to come along - Ask us how we are building the infrastructure, see it being created and of course get some ideas for your own place.

This year and for one year only, I'll be running a combined course! Three days combined! So join me for a general chat about self-sufficiency, we'll talk chickens, meet the pigs Charlotte and Wilbur, and we'll talk about grazing sheep and keeping goats. All the benefits of keeping each animal explored, as well as their ongoing benefit to you, such as eggs, meat and fleece to craft with. Enjoy a lunch and time to chat with like-minded individuals, and for this year only, your course material will contain all my courses in one big folder for you to take away with you.

So that's three days in one! Smallholding Experience Day, Dairy Goat Keeping and Crafting with Your Own Flock Of Sheep.
