Behind every little business is a great team
What makes this business tick over is the goats. They were the reason for the creation of Clean Goat Co. Ltd and the basis for running a working smallholding to sustain that. It's important that if you are buying from me you should see the animals behind the scenes who make all this possible. The goats happy life here is the important, they provide the base ingredient to the soap. The cottage garden gives me all the inspiration I need to create all the varieties of soap as does the landscape around the farm.

I live here with my partner Tony and together we farm on a small scale. We keep a herd of goats, two pets pigs, a flock of sheep alongside the horses Thor, Celt and Zoe and of course the dogs and cats, many of whom are rescued and are here living it up now under our care.

Running a smallholding is a challenging task particularly if you wish as we do to be as self sufficient as possible. Managing the years' task can be a full time job from wood cutting/sorting to growing the vegetables you hope will fill the kitchen and with time spent also processing more of the produce you can store more food like sauces, jams and pickled foods for the larder.

I also like to spend my time gardening, having beautiful spaces to enjoy with family and friends is a must for me. It is so important to both of us that we are able to enjoy some down time a BBQ and the odd glass of gin enjoying the sunset is a must.

Luna
Born to Gertie a stunning near white goat from a beautiful billy goat who stayed for only a short time.

The billy goats

Lenny
Born this May, his mother Molly passed away unfortunately, however having been bottle raised that means he escapes everywhere with his sister Lotti, eats everything and shouts loudly. he is going to be a challenge as a billy goat.
Leonard
A stunning boy that I had the opportunity purchase in a new pedigree boy, and was able to secure him not disbudded. We look forward to welcoming him to the crew later this year.
Einstein
A pygmy billy goat who arrived with us to stay for a short time, which became the rest of his life. He is wonderful and trained to walk on a halter. He is a great guy to meet for courses.

Levi
A lovely single who has come from Hannah. She is a wonderful milker and a great mum. Whilst he is full Anglo Nubian he doesn't yet have the proper classics of the pedigree. He is however lovely and so will be staying.
lennox
He is nothing short of an oddity. Showing all the signs of being British Alpine yet he has come from Heidi! We have no BA in the herd so perhaps there is some genetic throw back.
the pets

Pepper
Born to Gertie many years ago, he was brought back to us when the circumstances changed. He is MASSIVE and I cannot understate this. Wethered he makes a cuddly friend for plenty of goats.

SaLT
Twin brother to Pepper.

Harley
