We celebrate the seasons here at the Clean Goat Co. From the first scent of the grass ​growing in the warm sunshine to the arrival of the swallows and distant cockoo sounding heralds spring.
The warmer summer days are about lambs jumping about and goats heading out into the fields. I can spend time in the gardens taking in the intoxicating rose scents, sweet fruity cider in a glass and Jasmine in full flower.

As the days shorten the harvests of fruit come from sloes to blackberries, citrus fruits swell and the season swings to pumpkins, spices and autumn colours.
Winter is a season to relish in, to cosy up with warmer scents, wood smoke and fire, spices with cinnamon and dried fruits.

It seemed clear to me when growing vegetables in the garden to eat that we can create skincare from the garden as well, and of course the most beautiful creamy milk my girls here produce means the provenance of the ingredients are all traceable. I wanted to create soaps and skincare that felt like stepping into the garden or the wider wild landscape in all those different seasons.

My unique recipe uses 7 oils and butters, each one is beneficial to skin and its care in their own unique way. Combined with our own goats milk the soap is produced right here blended with botanical ingredients makes our soap unique and a luxury your skin should not be without.

In 2019 I set up my business to blend milk from my own Anglo Nubian herd of goats with botanicals all 100% natural, with only pure essence oils blended in with a unique recipe.
​
Goats milk soap has some exceptional moisturising and skin healing properties when combined with other oils and butters. It has a similar pH level to human skin, and is naturally high in vitamins, minerals and Alpha Hydroxy acids. Natural oils and butters when blended with Goats Milk is known to nourish and rejuvenate the skin.

Goats milks soap is well known for being beneficial for people who have sensitive skin and can help alleviate skin conditions. It's properties keep healthy skin soft and moisturised naturally every time you wash your skin.

Plants have for 1000's of years been used for their unique properties, their ability to aid healing, cleaning skin, rejuvenating, balancing the natural oils present on skin to prevent it from drying out and filled with antioxidants.
